Write Up:

CADGenie is a PDF-to-CAD conversion application directed towards the sub-contractor that relies on Contract Drawing PDF's to drive their shop drawings. A user's typical workflow may include the import and scale method where a user imports each page and selects each view before scaling in AutoCAD. In this case, a user needs to address each view individually and scale each view individually after importing one sheet at a time. The CADGenie application handles this entire work flow in 2 steps for the user. 

1. The user selects desired views, 

2. CADGenie processes views into AutoCAD by scaling each view individually based on the scale found in the view. I.E., the application quickly imports, copies, and scales the user selected geometry into individual CAD workspaces. 

From there, the user can begin incorporating their own changes into the geometry.

There are currently a wide collection of possible scales and we're always working to add more functionality. In the event CADGenie is unable to interpret a scale, the user is given the option to select from a list of known scales.
